FounderCroft is a knowledge base and a marketplace for people who want a business of their own — started from scratch, bought with its customers, or opened under a franchise brand — and for the advisers who help them get there.
Most advice about starting a business is written for somewhere else. The legal form, the registry, the tax regime and the licences are different in every country, and the first months are decided by details: which form to choose, what to file, whom to ask. FounderCroft puts the steps for your country next to the businesses for sale there, the franchises recruiting there, and the accountants, lawyers, mentors and brokers who work there.
The name says what we are for. A croft is a small plot of land worked by one family: a place of your own, small on purpose, that pays its way. A founder is anyone who decides to run one.

How we keep it honest
- No commission, ever. FounderCroft earns from optional listing upgrades and the Pro membership, not from a percentage of your sale.
- Verified members. A verified badge means the registered company name and registry number were checked by us.
- Confidential figures stay confidential. Sellers put the sensitive part of a listing behind an NDA; buyers sign it on the page and the seller decides who sees it.
- Money moves at a licensed escrow provider, never through us. The deal page tracks the milestones and messages both sides at each step.
- Guides name their jurisdiction and their review date. They are general information, not legal advice; the directory lists the professionals who give that.

A basic listing for a business, franchise or service costs nothing. Reading, searching and asking in the forum need no account at all.
Who is behind it
FounderCroft is made in Novi Sad, Serbia, and written for founders anywhere. The first country pages cover Serbia and its neighbours, because those are the rules we can check ourselves; the marketplace and the directory are open to every country in the list. Questions, corrections and partnership ideas are welcome in the forum.
